The vocals on 'I man a African' are indeed Max Romeo and Winston 'Niney' Holness.
The song is also featured on some more compilations by Trojan records like 'Bring the Couchie Come', 'Jah Love Rockers' and Max Romeo's anthology 'The coming of jah'.

As Belly says it is indeed Max Romeo along with Niney as the Sons of Selassie, early 70s. They were close back in them days
