IE isn't the safest one to use...

yes IE is Internet Explorer and is recognized by the tech community as being the least secure browser, not compliant with web standards and prone to bizarre behaviour. So I and people who actually know about these things (!) would suggest Firefox or anything else. A huge number of people have just got used to MS products despite the fact that they are for the most part inferior to those of other companies. It is really worth your while to wean youself off IE at least and experience the benefits and stability of other superior, more stable, more secure software.
