Sad..Was really hoping it was true...

Still looking to add more to the playlist if anyone can help. My Marley knowledge isn't great (played out his songs about 15 yrs ago and haven't listened to it much since), but I would think there are more examples of his stuff. Thanks in advance.

"All in one" covers pretty much all of the Wailers' earlier ska hits.

@jumbo: are you sure of that? To me it sounds like was done back in the rocksteady era.

@ DWick

The track " Conscious Man " - Jolly Brothers is on a CD called " Hot Shot - Finest Rocksteady - Compiled by Supersonic Vol. 2 " . Check your pm`s . :)

@ Return of Jesco

I don`t think this is the same track . The one I suggested is " I Forgot To Be Your Lover "

quite sure: it was made in 2010.

they did not have pro tools in the60s!

listen well and you hear a cut and paste accapella over a looped sample of the Sealmates 'She Says She Love me' riddim.

@AnorakTrev - quite right, just played it, the Gene Chandler one is another song covered by someone at Studio One and ending up done over by Johnny Osbourne on the Truths and Rights album - sure I've got another soul version of I Forgot... somewhere though!

Nice one, Nicholas. Listened to the early version; very funky. Do you have info on the tune (studio, etc)?
