Yes great album. And they released it on CD too. Got it on both formats

Killer mixes. Englishman and My Conversation stand out for me.

Several tracks are real low volume, so much so that I needed to switch up the vol to even hear it at all!!

At this point, I'm afraid I can't follow which comments are about the Germain LP, and which are about the "real," finally released Jah Life In Dub. I have the DKR Jah Life In Dub LP. Is there anywhere on line someone can listen to the Germain tracks?
Thanks!

Sean, I did notice too that the songs on Jah Life in Dub are not all of the same volume.
I did raise this on the B&F forum, one person agreed with me, others denied it.

Hello
yes one or two are at a lower volume than the rest.
Obviously the mastering engineers ears went walkabout

This is what I have on the faux »Jah Life in Dub« (ie. the dub LP housed in the Jah Life sleeve).
**A1. Sugar Minott – Slice of the Cake (Revolutionary Sounds 12")**
**A2. Dirty Harry cut. 1
A3. Dirty Harry cut. 2
A4. Dirty Harry cut. 3**
Three cuts of the Dirty Harry rhythm. I can't recall any Germain productions with this rhythm. Could possibly be a strictly instrumental cut he never released any vocals on. Sound system vibe to them even though they do not differ too much. Bass drops in and out on different parts kind of remixes. Would have been nice to have a drum and bass cut, a strict instrumental and a wilder dub. Very nicely played nonetheless.
**B1. Mighty Diamonds – Brotherman (Reggae 12")**
Thanks for pointing this one out, Roots Tradition. I even had the 12" but couldn't place it. A disco I never play, couldn't even remember how it sounded.
**B2. ??? – Living In the Footsteps (Hawkeye 12")**
It's a next cut to Triston Palma's »Living In the Footsteps« but a different vocalist (same lyrics still). Sugar Minott is obviously one of the back-up vocalists but probably not the main vocalist (you only get snippets of the chorus so difficult to say). I'm guessing once again this is an unreleased vocal.
**B3. Cultural Roots/Wade Dyce – ???**
I don't know this one but it's a nice rhythm and obviously the Cultural Roots on vocals. Never been good at telling them apart but I think it's Wade Dyce (who I pressume was the lead vocalist on Hell A Go Pop?).
**B4. Lee Van Cliff - Reggae Sunsplash (Reggae Sunsplash LP)**
