Cote D'Ivoire looks good.
Any comments on the Ghana match? They controlled play but the strategy of always crossing in from the wing became predictable. It might work on Portugal, but they'll have to change it up for Germany.
Great goalscoring from the Netherlands!

Well, as a German I'm rooting for Germany, but my 2nd team is Netherland, because I used to live there for almost 3 years. Long time ago, but still in love with Ajax
I guess Spain will have a hard time against Chile today. If they loose then it's all over for them.

Lucky Holland and thanks to the corrupt FIFA for playing the game at the hottest hour during the day. Dunza before health of the players and NO respect to the game. The game never can be played good at 39 Celcius.

Yes the conditions were inhuman. Chapeau to the Dutch for not giving up. They were not the better team that day but they kept on going. And yes they were lucky in the end. Not the worst diver ever by Robben, just stupid from the defender (Marquez?). I guess Mexico would have won on penalties. Also big up Huntelaar for having the balls to shoot the penalty after warming the bench for four games.

@Siegi: I haven't seen that foul you meant. Sounds dirty though.
Two epic clashes coming up in the semi-finales. I can see a european finale coming! Germay vs. Netherlands' first Knock-out-phase game since 1990 of those two?
Although Brazil vs. Argentina would be epic too wouldn't it?

Well the keeper got yellow when it needed to be a re card but of course you can explain it differently. Talking about Brasil - Colombia.Gabranth wrote:@Siegi: I haven't seen that foul you meant. Sounds dirty though.

True I prefer an European or a South American clash. Both same level of animosity. Cant wait.

It's a shame what happened with Neymar!
But with or without him Brasil should not be strong enough to beat Germany this time.
And Netherlands should beat Argentinia as well to realise a European Finale.
I hope this will come true.
