for sure Ernie is the best source for reggae music over the internet, but when u are outisde US things are not THAT great... If u really wanna make a good deal on shipping, u gotta make a considerably big order... like U$ 100.- so this way they have a max amount for shipping costs to a specific number of cd's or lp's....
the point is that when u order many records (more than 10 lp's/cd's) u certainly goinna have to pay the import duties your country may apply.... in my case, down south in brazil they use to charge me 60% over total price order (records+postage) ...
now about three months ago I placed another order at EB and when it reached the post here they said there was another state tax charging me more 36%, so in that order of about U$200. they charged me 96% over it!!!!!! :X
That's why i stopped buying from ernie, since he cannot help me out with this matter as ebay or other second hand dealers can do....
but i'm working on a different way of importing from ernie...hopefully it will work out... coz he's got the best prices in new records, NO DOUBT ....

He also has got quite a few ORIGINAL PRESSES, and some of them at a fairy reasonable price.... but others....
well... just do a search for yourself... type ORIGINAL PRESS and it appears everything he's got in original.... u gonna get surprised... but most of the real gems are skyhigh prices...
So... i wish to express my deep RESPECT for the man mr. Ernie.... he definitly changed my perception of buying records overseas thru the web...
