I WAS FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO HAVE EXPERIENCED THE LIVE VIBE OF THE GREAT FEMALE GROUP ABACUSH IN THEIR HEY DAY AS PERFORMING ARTIST THEY WHERE THE LICK, I WAS SUPPRISED THEY DID NOT BECOME A HOUSE HOLD NAME, THAT TUNE THEY RELEASED 'SUNSHINE ISLAND' WAS AHEAD OF ITS TIME I REMEMBER RADIO DJ TONY BLACKBURN USE TO RINSE IT, IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN UP IN THE CHART,I DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING NOW A DAYS IF ANYONE IS OUT THERE KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING LET ME KNOW, ALTHOUGH RUMOUR HAS IT ONE OF THE GROUP MEMBERS IS DOING WELL AS AN ACTRESS ON BRITISH TV?

I have to second Dezarie. She is head and shoulders above any other female voice in reggae (including legends like Judy or Marcia) Then off course Kofi, Tanya Stephens... Especially Tanya has something to tell. On Impact label is a wicked wicked 7inch The Evil That You Do by The Roots, my favourite female song of all time. More than worth checking.
