Re: Mystic Eyes - Mysterious
I think Perilous Time is identical to the album cut of Judgment Time.
Pope Paul Dead is on the Rock in the Ghetto set, a Linval production on the same riddim.

Re: Mystic Eyes - Mysterious
Mysterious is one of the best reggae albums of all time. the production is a bit muddy, but i like it.
Must Eat Bread and I Hold the Handle are two of my favorite reggae songs ever, and Judgment Time, Born to Love Rastafari, I'm Drifting, and the rest of the songs are not far behind.
i'd love to hear more songs by them. incredible stuff

Re: Mystic Eyes - Mysterious
If you don't need the original the "perilous time showcase" LP is a great alternative - contains several songs from the Mystic I LP and with dubs as well!! Sounds quality is ok in my opinion. Ernie B among others have it.Jah Chicken wrote:Greetings,
I've been trying to track down the Mystic Eyes - Mysterious LP: http://www.roots-archives.com/release/1349. Does anyone have this LP? Is it worth finding? I like the locals very much on 'Foward with Love' and 'Foward with Jah Orthodox'. I can imagine that the other material might be killer as well! Is this one so rare that it's nearly impossible to come by, or has anyone seen it in circulation recently?
Praises,

Re: Mystic Eyes - Mysterious
there's a Burning Sounds 12" of 'judgement time'?!?!Lite-let wrote:Either than a 7" repress, look for the Greensleeves 12", it include a good DJing by Trinity. The 12" release pon Burning Sounds have the dub in second part.
And there is at least another chune of the Mystic Eyes called "SHINING LIGHT" pon a 7", Canadian label called Black Rose.
If any of you own dis... please comment or post a sample...
