@Ron: Not easy for an englishman to decide between Germany and Argentina, right? Both are England's biggest rivals I'd say.

When I don't feel more sympathy for one team, then I'm always for the underdog. And when there is no real underdog, I will always root for the team which deserves to win, because they simply play better.
Feels kinda fair to me.

Actually I am Dutch, still Germany and Argentina are (I think) the two biggest rivals for Holland as well.

World War II is a thing in the past. Germany vs Holland has always been a hot topic, specially when it comes to football, but that's as far as it goes in my eyes.

With this WCup, I found myself for the first time, supporting Germany. Obviously only after Holland was kicked out by Argentina.

This has nothing to do with World War II and the Nazis.
These words are still part of Germany's national hymn.
