[cover=5110,4143]
This album is from 1983 according to discussion at Chatty Mouth.

Other info;
Drums & syndrums - Sly Dunbar
Bass - Robbie Shakespear
Piano - Robbie Lyn, Ansel Collins
Percussion - Sky Juice, Sticky
Horns - Dean Frazer, Nambo, Chico and David Maden.

Produced & arranged by Sly & Robbie and Soljie.

Liner Notes say;
»Mention the name Anthony Hamilton to the average music fan, and the reaction might be ›a who dat‹,« but if you say ›SOJIE‹ or ›Brutal SOLJIE‹ then everyone knows you're talking about one of the most consistent recording and mixing engineers on the Jamaican Reggae music scene.

During the seventies, while in the army (the J.D.F.) his love for music led him to Channel One Studios, where he listened and observed the runnings from time to time.

He eventually joined the staff in 1980, since then he has worked with all the top producers turning out hits after hits.

His involvement with ›Echo Vibrations‹, a top Sound System in Jamaica, has enabled SOLJIE to get a feel of what ›SOUNDS‹ the people want.

This album gets down to the roots of the music, projecting Sly, Robbie and the Taxi Gang in the inimitable ›SOLJIE‹ slyle.

For lovers of Dub music, this album is a must.

Just for fun, Dub Vendor is currently advertising Strictly the Best Vol 44 to which Freddie Macgregor apparently contributes a song called "A Horse is not a Home", which I can't really argue with.
