Yes my wife also has songs I dislike (popy girly songs)but are catchy. Sometimes I wihstle along in my car without I notice it but for her it is annoying, because she likes to sing along. Yes indeed we are a happy family
I can stand max. 5 min a day loud music from my neighbour and he can stand that same timelimit from me. So we worked it out and for me and him 5 min is enough. Everybody is responsible for the neighbourhood he lives in also when it comes to playing loud music.

Also I was thinking the other way around what if your girl/wife was obsessed with reggae and even with dub and hard rhythms. Imagen you are comming home and she is already spinning some hard Roots reggae on the turntable. You are looking on e-bay she already has the most important watched items in place. Futhermore she already unwrapped the latest LP received today and which you bought. Every weekend she wants to go to a reggae concert along with your friends and wihstle some classic reggae tunes in the car. I guess I would look for another women on the other hand I never experienced it. It would also save me allot of time .

considering i'm a faggoty white boy,probably like much of you,i've always expected ridicule from peers and family for my obsession these past few years,
i haven't received any guff whatsoever,not even for the pornographic amount i've spent on rare records.
i assume it's very much because my family never pass comment on black culture, thus affirming their obvious latent racism,
my mother, for example, loves watching sufferation on the news of third world and the haitian incident,boohooing about it, but refuses to enter a taxi driven by a black man or talk to our ethnic neighbours,shame that

Prince Pud Pud nice comment. Let me tell you something about myself as you seem to be interested. I am a proud blackman who feel somehowe superior to others. Since I was youg I was looking for my indentity but found it in reggae and rastafari Although the collectors saved and spread the musicalheritage I donnot like them at all especially those white europeans. In fact anybody that is richer then me I donnot like. Futhermore what I do like is to post a message after drinking.

PS my friends and family thinks the same way but drink less.
