Rules: You must produce photographic evidence of your record! You can also provide a YouTube link if you wish for others to hear it but the main rule is we must see it to believe it!
PS: This topic is for original or very rare LP's only and they can only be reggae LP's.

I'm gonna start this off with my top 3 and see how things go. My top 3 are all from 'Bob Marley & The Wailers' and all 3 are original Tuff Gong pressings (Rastaman Vibration, Exodus and Kaya) from Jamaica.

What are the pressing quality of your LP's?
I got some 12"s on the label - totally unplayable - no bass , total waste of cash.
Haven't touched a TG pressing since.

Great quality for Jamaican pressings, I find that the late 70's Tuff Gong pressings are some of the best quality in Jamaica at that time. I was fortunate to get Kaya and Rastaman Vibration in near mint condition so they both sound perfect. The only one that's a little off is Exodus, the pressing quality isn't great with that one and plays with a bit of crackle throughout the whole LP but it's bearable.

I was actually thinking about making a 12" topic for others to share their rarest ones. I myself have a few late Tuff Gong 12" pressings i'm sure people would be interested in seeing but i'd love to see some rare ones you got. What 12" did you get from Tuff Gong?

But yeah back on the topic of Tuff Gong pressing quality, the early stuff like the Catch a fire (Tuff Gong) LP I heard is not the best of quality, and I have a few 45's from the early 70's from Tuff Gong label and they all play with a bit of crackle, not the best in quality, but as time progressed and Marley became more international the quality became prestige for Jamaica at that time.

Tuff Gong albums.
I believe original Exodus has 56 Hope road address on label and is in sleeve that has 56 Hope Road address. Others look right. I've also only ever seen USA made sleeves for Rastaman Vibration on both JA & Barbadian presses...
