Lots of great reggae tunes by non reggae artists. I'm thinking to Abba version of by the rivers of babylon. Just kidding.

Ben Harper - Jah works and another that I can't remember
Iggy Pop - In the death car (not pure reggae but excellent)

fully agree with 10cc dreadlocks holiday - other good reggae tunes are by the clash, such as guns of brixton, ghetto defendent and the stunning and highly original willie williams cover armagideon time,

Some by Simply Red, he covered "Ghetto Girl" and "Night Nurse" but in his LP's there is at least one (great) Reggae track...

French popular singer Serge Gainsbourg recorded (about 1980) two very nive reggae albums with Sly & Robbie... check it out !
