dont see much posting about events so thought i'd share some of the happenings here inna NYC this week...
amazura last night had a king sturgav dance however uroy and chaplin were no shows.
wed july 18- pato banton at canal room
sun july 22 - eek A mouse + HR at highline ballroom
wed july 25 cornell campell, phillip fraser, ranking joe, sadiki at happy ending.

Continuing with NYC, a few past shows were the U Roy tribute at Amazura with Sugar Minott, Brigadier Jerry, Ranking Joe, Eek a Mouse, Johnny Osbourne, Cornell Campbell, Michael Palmer, Carlton Livingston among others last saturday, and earlier this month we had Junior Reis at the Sob's.
Coming at Sob's in july will be Culture and Puerto Rican reggae band Cultura Profetica. Next month we will have Morgan Heritage and Midnite.

I saw for the first Time *Ras Michael* this last WE at the *Montreux Jazz Festival* was a great experience...
setlist was:
New Name - Mr Brown - Non A Jah Jah - Fly Away Home - Holy Mount Zion - and 2-3 more...
So Chong, go watch him!

Well 2 weeks ago sammy dread was here, next month horace andy and sly & robbie, in the same month the twinkle brothers are playing here too!!! Doesent that kick ass!!!!

You damn americans! You are SO lucky! The only thing here in denmark is a small festival with only 2 names (Alton Ellis & Admiral Bailey). I love em both but it's in the other end of the country so i can't....and that's all the festivals we get:(
