How do you decide what to add?

I'm wondering if you're interested in albums from the relevant era that you don't have on the site? Do you need to have a copy in hand to fact check everything? Do you already have a running list of things you know you don't have on the site yet?

Indeed we have an original or copy of every album in roots archives. This idea goes back to the early days of RA where I planed to add audio samples of every song listed here. This may change one day or another though, I already started making a list of albums missing in RA and I reached so far something like 900+ albums missing. I'm thinking about a way to add them but nothing has been decided yet.

You could add a "missing albums" page like the "missing artwork" to the RA. Some of the diehard visitors of the forum must have at least some those. By putting it on the list you make it clearer it is some something you are looking for.
You could also make more explicit with what you mean "an original or copy of every album in roots archives". I think this means you have an audio copy + complete info of every album. It doesn't mean there is a real physical cupboard with 5000+ original vinyl albums: there is a database with audiocopies of all those albums.
Make your question for help you could state more clearly: do you have an album which is not on the RA? Please send us the info and the upload link of an audio copy.... Perhaps some think it can only be added by sending the real stuff as a gift to the RA.
Don't know, just some ideas.... Unfortunately making mp3 audiocopies of lp's is very boring to do.

yes. minus a few. i come to your site to copy the covers so i dont have to take pictures of the covers. i keep every thing labeled on the itunes

you have alot of mp3 copy then i take it?
