Hi

I like to see someone mention Nasio Fontaine.

I have listened to some of his music and he is a very talented artist. One from the new breed of roots.
Maybe he is not that popular but with songs like: Ithiopia, My defense, living in the positive it is quite weird that he has not gain some more attentions.

bredrens,
yes nasio is roots and some tunes are nice, but this site is dedicated to roots music from 1970 to 1985. Otherwise we would have a few nice bands from today to mention.

Jim

Stop smoking the bad shit and listen with a clear mind to Nasio's music then you might realize what you've been overlooking

Ok, "nasio sucks" may be a little strong. But I agree the problem with his music is that he really follows too close the Marley standart of reggae, with the girls' choirs in the mood of the I threes and the horns too, etc. So he's a little cliche by the way. Nevertheless we must recognize he made some good tunes like Herb and loving,
cheers

Okay "sucks" was a bit too harsh. But I still think he is a cliche right through you know.

Predictable.
