'Been listening to Earl Sixteen's Super Duper lp...this one
[cover=3205,674]
A few of the bass-lines are from the Dangerous Dub lp , but they're heavier mixes than what's on the King Tubby's lp.
Is there perhaps another dub lp with these heavier mixes?

Hi Jeff,
How you keeping ?
The sgort answer to you question is NO, there is not a straight dub album to the "Super Duper" LP
I too really like this album, Earl Sixteen has many pretty good albums.
"Reggae Sound" and "Shining Star" are even better imo and at least "Shining Star" has its dubs

I'm with Rootsman on the Reggae Sound LP. Too bad he didn't record enough with Perry to release an LP.

phoenix is only one tune from the 70s, freedom, the rest is new vocals on vintage perry riddims

Well , if it's the one then yes there are vocal versions namely:
1)Earl Sixteen - Holy Mount Zion from the Super Duper lp
2)Barry Brown - Jukes And Watch from the Right Now lp
Dunno if there's more out there.Very possible though...
Ain't that the beauty of reggae music

?
By the way(if it may help someone out there) ,most...if not all ,of the vocal and dj versions of the Dangerous dub tracks can be found on the following lps:
1)Earl Sixteen - Super Duper
2)Barry Brown - Right Now
3)Horace Andy - Showcase (Tad's lp)
4)Ranking Joe - Disco Skate
5)Hugh Griffiths - Mr Walker
