That Junior West is aN INCREDIBLE song. As is the Kenlock. Haven't heard any of the others.

I'm thinking you're after names on rare singles but for me many of the nicest songs to hear drop in the dance are the classics such as Barrington Levy - 21 Girl Salute. When that one starts playing and you can rub up closely to a girl. Brilliant stuff.

thanks for the link to thread that basically has nothing to say other than a suggestion of getting the songs off Soul JAzz Studio 1 roots comps (duh!) and a couple others. For a site where the moderators complain about the lack of time they have for this place, it sure can get consistently draconian up in here.

I don't get why that was to be considered draconian, jordan. He/she/they (?) just posted a link to a thread where some good roots had been discussed. I don't think it was supposed to be seen as anything else but a comment on some more titles of good songs?

My comment was not so much directed at this particular thread, but many others that are closed abruptly. People always havwe something new to offer and if certain members feel they've talked about it before, then they simply do not reply. m I can understand not wanting to have a whole front page of GIVE ME SOME RARE RECORD INFORMATION threads, but....

Don`t apologise for asking questions to try and find out if something that you have heard on mp3 is or isnt availble on vinyl. Its not your thought that the forum is full of condescending arseholes :D
