Alton Ellis - Breaking Up. It really made sense after a seven year long relationship ended for me. Still can't hear the song without feeling it deep. Some four or five years after.

Re: Reggae Make A Grown Man Cry
Every time I hear the [dis]likes of Grounation, SOJA and those Easy Star No Stars concept albums, I can't help but cry.
Actually, I can't handle any of those Reggae concept albums.
VP's 'Reggae Gone Country' was atrocious but not as horrific as ESA'S 'Lonely Hearts Dub Band' LP.
Those two LPs alone make me want to play an Eddy Grant LP
Ok, on a seriously sad note:
-BMW 'There She Goes'
-Toots 'Just Like That'
-McKay's 'Love is a Treasure', somehow this manages to be a sadder type love song. Then again, take your pick when it comes to Sad McKays, in a good way of course...
On the non-love level:
George White 'Suffering'
and so many more...

A few already mentioned Barrington's Don't Give Up, Gregory Isaacs - If I Don't Have You & Joe Higgs.
& I've always found Uhuru's 'Emotional Slaughter' a sad sounding song.
Horace Andy's 'New Broom' - Studio One is a sad song about a break up.
Bob's 'Running Away' from the Kaya album as well as 'Time Will Tell' both sound kinda sad.
And not really a sad song but one that's emotional is I Jah Man's 'Closer I Get To You'

@kalicidis: Quite amazing how songs can preserve emotions of a certain situation!

These tunes once made me cry:
Bob Marley - I know
Black Uhuru - Elements
Ken Bothe - Set me free
Hortense Ellis - unexpected places
