Nice title to get people engaged, but I prefer trying to understand the register in which sit the great voices of Jamaica. Am no expert, but click "voices wiki" to get a definition from falsetto to bass. Anyway, based on gut, I categorize as following some of the ones that come to mind:

Sweet:

> Jackie Robinson from The Pioneers
> Tabby Shaw from The Mighty Diamonds
> Cornell Campbell (falsetto)

Powerful:

> Leroy Smart
> Prince Lincoln

Dangerous:

> Prince Far I

Nosy:

> Gregory Isaacs
> Pablo Moses

Soaring:

> Jr Murvin

etc etc

John Holt( Songbook lp --> he gave a vocal lesson to everyone.Just try to sing " Let them say" -->take a long and deep breathe).

Carl Dawkins. He hasn't got the greatest voice but i really like the way he sings "Satisfaction"(both versions) ,"Luv Is Needed" or "This Land" .(If you've got his lp on Cancer or Harry J label for a trade(or sell) ,contact me).

Slim Smith is the N°1 ("Turning Point","Out of Love" ect..)

Peter Tosh is not just the voice of Jamaica but also the sound of the heavens.

Gladstone Anderson (number 1)
Carlton Manning (carlton & The Shoes) sounds a little bit like gladdy
Earl Cunningham
Albert Walker (Culture Lead Vocal on Roots And Culture Feat Don Carlos)
Barry Brown

and I know he did two songs but Johnny Walker (Soul Reach and Pass Me In The Cold)
Jah Love
