dancing old school ska

Hi everyone, i'd like to have some advice to find some good old school ska in the same style than simmer down by the wailers or artibella by ken boothe and stranger cole
that make your feet jump ! :)

Hi,
I'd like to recommend the following compilations
Studio One Ska (Soul Jazz)
Prince Busters Original Golden Oldies Vol.1 & Vol.2 (Prince Buster)
Gaz Mayall Top Ska Tunes (Trojan)
and off course everything the Skatalites did on Studio One Records and Top Deck (search for the 'Top Sounds on Top Deck' volumes from West Side Records).
I think this will do for a 'jump'start. :)

Yes indeed! Studio One..Soul Jazz.."Man In The Street" by The Skatalites..wicked tune deh..It was sampled by KRS-1 on his 1990 tune "Edutainment".

Small axe by Buju Banton is a classic ska throw-back & will get any party jumping
