i'm looking for a song from d.brown which i know it was also sung by j osbourne(album in canada with Ishan).What I can remember of the lyrics is just a few,but I'm sure someone will recognize it:"...but I just can't afford new shoes..skabadup"

I don't know about the D. Brown version, but the Johnny Osbourne version is called "Inflation." The name of the album escapes me at the moment...

Inflation is rising
The dollars are very few
You see I bought them brand new socks
But I just can't afford new shoes!

Just pulled the J Osbourne album that has "Inflation" on it - it's called Warrior (released 1981).
