Sure - if you pay the airfare - can you get me tickets to the 49ers game while we are there? (actually that could be a painful experience the way things have been in recent seasons) :>(

Hmm, maybe there's something in all this...

And that island setting sounds like a really good idea! Especially on a cold damp English morning like today.

Which island Nefta?

The idea is good - I can offer Bass (I play other stuff, but I'm primarily the Bassman) and also a dub mix of the finished track.

I can also do electronic drum backing if needed (some kind of click track would probably be necessary even if we use real drums as we are not playing simultaneously).

Hey Leggo, escape from the cold to the band practice here in Puerto Rico,Hahaha!!Seriouslly the thing that Litelet mention about every one puting their own instrument and send a base riddim sound great. We need also the horn selection and a key player. Also we are in need of the lead & riddim guitars..

I can do the guitars and also have two guitarists in the band, but better if someone else on RA does it for the spirit of the project!

I also know a guy who has been touring with The Wailers for many years until fairly recently as their keyboard player.
I should get him to join RA and contribute!

If you seriously want to kick this off guys, I will record a bass line for you all this weekend, and then we can take it from there.

We have to decide whether everyone attempts to overlay their bit or everyone records a separate track. The latter is the sensible way, if particularly if you want a dub mix!

I can provide a place to host the sound file, and should be able to give 'accredited' members of the project access to download and upload.

I'll write some words to a song and provide some background shouts. But I promise not to sing on it!
