living dub vol 2

hi can anyone answer this query?!

this is the info for living dub vol 2, one of the first records i ever bought, in about 1992.

my question being what does ASCAP 1991 on it mean? is my copy a rerelease on burning spear publishing?
or is that just a catalogue number?

thanks, but my problem being that if you look at the image provided on this website, mine is the same as the original but with different text.

Mine says

'pub by burning spear publishing
ASCAP 1991
Dist. by Dee Jay Music'

In all other respects it is the same...wierd...
