Cullen,
Yo don't listen to this guy Jah Glu, he is obviously a douch. He can't even explain why he dislikes the tracks. The harmonies on "Are you living Up" are tight like old school Gladiators. The guitar line in "Burn up the Lies" is hot, reminds me of some Wailers with Al Anderson. As for the rest of the tracks the vocal style is great, 3 different lead vocalist! The only other place to find something like that is the old Israel Vibs. I bet this middle school drop out Jah Glu didn't even notice that there was a different singer on every verse in a different style.
You got it covered, don't mind the haters.

justice chill kid, no need for names. I agree with Jah Glu, vocals sound boring to me, sounds like a white man trying to add a jamaican accent(this is just what it sounds like to me, i know nothing about the singer). I also haven't liked much reggae made after the 80's. Other than the vocals I like the sound though, good luck tryin to get scientist to work with you, that would be dope.

I don't think that hope massive is trying to be a reggae band, and I think they breathe some much needed fresh air into reggae. Reggae needs people trying new things because much of the reggae is almost cliche with people just trying to be the next bob marley. Inovators are often misunderstood. Reggae is what I love, and I love to see it going down new paths regardless of race, religion, or creed. One Love, we are all here to help each other and make this world a better place

Jah Pure much respect to you! Reggae will grow stale without innovators. It seems like so many are stuck in the past, like many of people that visit this site they will not listen to any roots after the 80s. But rewind selector...What about groups like Midnite and the whole V.I. movement, a very modern roots movement and roots to the core. Why should riddims like Sleng Teng or Stalag be recycled still, I call this the karaoke philosophy. This is art and artist need to be creative not reuse and abuse classic riddims.
