Depends on the strain but when I last grew in a greenhouse which was about 14 years ago they never seemed to stop growing. Well over 6 feet tall when harvested and some stems were as thick as my wrist. But you can pinch the tops out and keep the plants to almost any height you wish.

What I have been meaning to ask is how long are the media going to refer to Skunk as being a new strain? The seeds I planted 14 years ago were given to me with a warning that these were a very strong variety of herb called Skunk so use with caution but the way that the press talk up Skunk you would think it was invented yesterday.

Actually I once saw a plant growing in the back of a yard in Christiana in Copenhagen and it looked like a tree it had grown so tall and so bushy!

A friend of mine also once grew a hedge of ganja that lined a complete wall of his garden. The visual effect was such that at first you didn't realise what you were looking at. But when you got up close the smell soon gave it away!

@ MadAmigo - The press would have us believe that the UK streets are awash with this 'super' strength skunk weed. Really? All I can find is the cheap (and useless) 90% doggie-do 'hash' and the occasional bit of weak bush and, if you're lucky, some sensi.

It's gone full circle here.. When I first started smoking some 28 years ago you never saw Herb..Always resin, though not that awful soap bar which was around a few year ago. Apart from the usual Lebanese and Morrocan which was the vendors standard we also got the soft squidgy black resin which was normally from Pakistan or Kashmir. Occasionally Nepalese Temple Balls were offered which had a kind of mythical aura surrounding them and were spoken about in hushed tones , and on a couple of occasions I obtained some hash oil which was intersting !!!

Now days resin is never seen, always herb which should be a good thing, but quality does vary and some of it is "dirty" weed.

Maybe I am lucky but usually the herb I get is pretty good and "The Man" even lets me have a sample before buying.

Babylon still nah take heed and free up the Collie Weed.
