'Let's Get Started' is a superb LP.
If 'Trouble' is anywhere near as good as 'Let's get Started ' then I want it too!

Trouble is a really heavy Gussie produced showcase. In my opinion it betters Let's Get Started. Don't have any unfortunately.

I have the Nathan Skyers LP if anyone want to buy it. It is a Promo copy on the UK pressed "Mandingo" label. Sleeve has a black and white picture of Skyers face on the front of it and has a bit of shelf wear and pen writing, the record itself is mint, in fact, looks and sounds never played.
I can email JPEGs, tracklisting etc of this rare LP to any would be buyers. Highest offer secures.
PM me here if interested
Cool

GINGY FLY: I've seen that copy you have, If I remember right, it came out late 80's and had a slightly different tracklisting than the "Dem a Fight I" 1983 release. Doesn't it have a different title as well? Either way ,still hard to find and a great album.
It seems that in the late 80's , MArtin Mandingo Williams was reviviing some of his earlier releases. This album you speak of is more like a repress with things shuffled around.
Just like the "Mandingo Klassics" vinyl LP listed on the RA, almost all of these tracks were previously released from around 1980 on two different albums : "All Form" (MAndingo Hotsteppers LP 1980) and "reggae superstars" (Vista sounds LP 198X). BTW, I have these two various artist albums (Original press) for sale on my site right now.
Mantado: I have a Greensleeves copy of Tetrack's "Let's get started" in my personal collection I would be willing to let go of if the price is right -Private Message me if you are interested. This one is pretty hard to find...even the more recent rockers press disappeared real quick and it wasn't even that great of a press.
A buddy of mine has the "Trouble" LP on a Japanese press on the Music Works label. I had never seen such a beautiful and clean Music works label. Very excellent press and even came with lyric insert...pretty cool collectors item, and a wicked showcase style album , each song has vocal & dub on one track.

I have the Let's get started LP and Trouble in Mp3. Sorry, I love that LP so I don't plan to sell. IMO Trouble has real fine harmonies and riddims but the sound is slightly more digital and the whole thing is not as roots and deep as let's get started and I'm sure most of you will agree.

ps : my LP is the 1988 greensleeves repress but the sound is really good (i don't think there is any difference with the original Message press)

Dunno why Eastman Dub is so underrated! Has quite a few versions from the Lets Get Started LP - not Tubby's mixes, but very very enjoyable!! love the dub of Look Within Yourself!!

Re: Wanted: Tetrack and Nathan Skyers LP!!
Greetings,
I've mentioned several times that Tetrack - Let's Get Started is one of my favorite LPs! Excellent, very haunting, slightly off-tune harmonies, and hard hard riddims produced by Augutus Pablo. Eastman Dub is a must as well. I care not for there next release, Trouble. I agree, too digital sounding.. Pablo really made the album, IMHO. There are some other nice sounding Tetrack songs on the Rockers International LPs. "Give a little bit" being one of them. Also.. I care not for the Nathan Skyers album. I've barely made it through the album once, so I can't quite remember what about it was offensive.

Jah Chicken
