For me:
LKJ - his first 2 albums (Forces Of Victory & Bass Culture) & his first dub release (LKJ In Dub)
Poet and Roots - of course
Michael Smith - Mi C-Yaan Believe It
Mutabaruka - Check It
Oku Onuora & AK7 - Pressure Drop

The best tune:
LKJ - Sonny's Lettah (Anti-Sus Poem)

I quite enjoy the work of Jean "Binta" Breeze. For a nice intro to the dub poets, look out for the compilation, Word Sound 'Ave Power-Dub Poets and Dub,featuring her rootical piece,To Plant.

Word Sound 'Ave Power-Dub Poets

Really good LP on the US Heartbeat label. Nice riddims on it too.
