I'm looking for some good, rare boss records. Please don't mention any singles as I live in Norway and singles are practically impossible to get in stores (and Ebay is unfortunately too expensive until I find a job).
Thanks for helping and to everyone who read this, have a wonderful, irie new year from all reggae lovers in Norway!

You are going to be paying a small fortune , trying to pick up rare BOSS vinyl LP`s !!
BUT , there are a lot of good TROJAN releases on CD . " Reggae Pressure " - TJCCD 336 - has an outstanding selection of 26 tracks , from 1969-70 .
Laurel Aitken releases on vinyl and CD , on GROVER , are readily availiable , too . " The Pama Years " springs to mind , but this takes in some of his lighter tunes as well .
Lee Perry and The Upsetters crop up with his " Return Of Django " and " The Upsetter " , both on vinyl and CD .
Also , " The Ethiopians Meet Sir J.J. Johnson and Friends " has quite a few good tunes on it .
Happy hunting , the fun is in the research and the tunes you end up with !! (tu)

Re: Boss/Skinhead albums
Yeah, from my visits to England I've found everything a bit too expensive (sadly).
Also, thanks for the recommendations. Of course mentioning Upsetters is redundant seeing as they've been in my collection for a long time (think it's the first reggae records I bought).
I'll definetely check out your other recommendations though and for the future I hope I can get help with some singles as well.
Take care and stay out of Babylons tyranny!

@Anorak
I've been a subscriber to oldwah for a long time and really appreciate his devotion to reggae (I hope he's reading this), but thanks for the tip anyways.
To Karl, I haven't seen that Dandy release before but I'll definetely check it out, the other ones are already in my collection but it's always good to get responses.

Re: Boss/Skinhead albums
A) I guess Boss albums are just as hard to find in Norway as singles... I live in the Netherlands... found some pretty rare and obscure stuff in second hand stores during the last 5 years (even 1 Jamaican single from 1964 ) but hardly ever stumble across Boss/Skinhead stuff, so I guess it's even more difficult in your country...
I have only seen one time a complete box with that stuff (couple of months ago..) Original vinyl from labels like Beverely, Jaguar, Trojan, Pama, Harry J ( fair prices, 15/20 euro each... )
B) My experience is that London is in general much cheaper than ebay.
C) If you go to London I can advice you to get to Nudge records at Hanbury street, they have a lot of that early stuff...

Imo one of the best reggae record stores in London when it comes to selection and price. Last time I was there I spend nearly 4 hours digging tru the crates..
