No. I am saying that i have yet to see a good white reggae band/artist. I have no idea why there hasn't been anyone good but i cant change that.

maybe the simple fact that black people have been the most productive in the reggae scene by far.

i would have to agree with the whole vocal thing.
im a white strictly roots guitar player ive seen plenty of white musicians mash it up on the roots but as far as singin is concerned i havnt heard seen or played with any white singers who truly could spit fya in a reggae styli.

Fermin Muguruza has recorded his last album "Euskal Herria Jamaica Clash" in Tuff Gong studios, with the collaborations of U-Roy, Toots Hibert, ant I-Threes, among others...
BDF (Basque Dub Foundation) has some deep dub records, you must listen to them

Sly & Robbie has worked with Grace Jones but that doesnt make her a reggae singer.

It´s difficult to say what a reggae singer is, Bob Marley doesn´t belong to that category, isn´t it Jah Glu?

Serge Gainsbourg: Aux armes, etc. has been in my personal reggae album top 10 since I first heard the album. There's one cheesy non reggae song you have to ignore, but the rest of the album is Excellent!

The story goes he wrote all the songs on the plane from France to JA.
