Yabby You: Strange Love

I was wondering who is the original singer of the vibe by Yabby You, "Strange Love". I have heard other versions also, like by Freddy McGregor. His tune is called "Stranger in Love".

Well I think John Holt did it first at Studio 1 around 1970. It's on the Love I Can Feel album. Not sure whether Holt wrote the song or not. There's also a Tristan Palmer version called Take My Hands on a 7" from the early 80s which Yellowman talked over on Operation Eradication (two songs if I remember right).
