I personally think style scott as well. But I'm pretty sure that Style was the understudy of sly. Of course Sly is more legendary, but in my opinion this is a case of the student out shinning the teacher.

I'm gonna agree with Jah Rumble. Though I think Sly was revolutionary in his drumming style (and has played on more material), I think Style Scott is more solid in his technique. If you don't believe me watch this vid:

Papa Ahmz......Thank you for posting that video. It was absolute murder. I've been looking for live footage of the radics. It really shows how tight of a band the radics were. And style's drum kit looked crucial.

Jah Rumble Here's Another Gregory with the Radics i think at Skateland. Bingy Bunny, Dwight Pickney and Flabba are clearly Visible.

Thank you as well Roddy. That video was also crucial. I wonder what documentary that footage was taken from. I love how the radics play 4 bars from each song in the set for gregory's intro. It shows great musiciansmanship.

I saw many reggae drummers in many concerts
but in this threat i must say SLY DRUMBAR has been more experimental drummer than style but with the diference of sly use more electronic items and for me is like fake sound style is more solid is real player of drumms cymbals and wood shell drumms he has like a hammer in his foot .
but if we talk about reggae drummers special mention too nelson miller of burning spear and steve grizzly nisbet the original drummer of steel pulse this 2 drummers add more sounds to the reggae beat like splashes, china cymbals, rides and they alternate wood drumms and electronic pads.
style scott rules.

Sly play normal drums for years now.
And Style Scott play also on drumpads(electrinic).
(even Style play fake sound Nacho)
