Reggae singer's tics

Post by vlad »

1) What is Gregory Isaacs song with most "lorrrrrrrd", "lord knows", "lordy lordy lord lord lord", "believe me" tics included?

Typical examples:

2) Michael Rose's "two, two, twelve" (or similar) and "stana-hoy" (or similar)?

List your favorite ones :)

I just love the waterhouse style "ohoi stanyoi" and of course Barry Brown with his "kwe kwe kwe" and his other "deep laughing" sound (no idea how to name/spell it).

This is beyond a tic, this should be part of "reggae DJ imitating an animal" thread, in this case I let you decide which one. I would say cow.

How can we not include Dennis Alcapone, the "king of the talker"

We all know his "yea, yea, yeaaaa", but here we get plenty of

"huuuuuuuuuuuuh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

a bit of "tell ya"
